AgLeader EZ-Guide/EZ-Steer Systems
An accurate GPS and guidance system is a key
ingredient in any precision farming system. AgLeader's EZ-Guide Plus
guidance system provides the best combination of accuracy,
portability, compatibility and cost effectiveness of any system on
the market. While this system works seamlessly with the PFAdvantage
and INSIGHT systems, it also gives you the flexibility of working
with equipment from other manufacturers as well. That means
simplicity, and that's how precision farming should be.
EZ Guide 500

Looking to
meet the demands of today’s precision ag users, Ag Leader
has introduced the EZ-Guide 500 guidance system. The Ag
Leader EZ-Guide 500 features a large, easy-to-read 7-inch
color display and a built-in lightbar with 31 guidance LED’s
that are highly visible even in bright light. The display
provides users an “overhead” or “perspective” view of the
operation while the map view provides a real-time, color
coverage map. The unit supports multiple guidance patterns
and also records data from field operations that can be
transferred to a PC via a USB flash drive.

The EZ-Guide 500 is Easy to
Read
- Easy-to-see, large color display.
- On-screen mapping with perspective and
plan-view maps with zoom capabilities to always see where you
are and what you are doing.
- View coverage maps in real time.
- Superior brightness/contrast makes it easy to
view in direct sunlight.
The EZ-Guide 500 Meets Your
Precision Needs
- Provides on screen map of guidance patterns.
- Enables you to save multiple guidance
patterns.
- Can perform contour guidance in odd shaped
fields.
- Record data from field operations and
transfer to PC via a USB flash drive.
- OnPath™ technology providing guidance even
without differential.
- Outputs NMEA position data to other equipment
such as the Insight display for SeedCommand, DirectCommand and
yield monitoring.
- Outputs simulated radar signal.
- Function buttons provide GPS status
information, setup and help information with one button press.
- Choose between EZ-Mode for simplified setup
or Advanced Mode for full-featured setup and operation.
- User-definable swath width.
- Audible alarm for off-swath alert and
headlands crossing with optional remote.
Guidance Even Without
Differential
OnPath™ advanced filtering technology is standard
with the EZ-Guide 500 giving high quality pass-to-pass accuracy when
operating in areas where obstructions such as trees or buildings are
blocking satellite signals.
GPS Options
The EZ-Guide 500 is available with two different
GPS options. Depending on their accuracy needs, users can choose
between an EZ-Guide 500 capable of using the free WAAS signal, which
provides 6-8 inch pass-to-pass accuracy or an EZ-Guide 500 capable
of using the OmniStar HP/XP subscription service for 2-4 inch or 3-5
inch pass-to-pass accuracy.

The Ag Leader EZ-Guide 250 features a
4.3-inch color display with 15 guidance LED lights. Users can choose
between “overhead” or “perspective” views of the operation and data
logged by the EZ-Guide 250 can be transferred to a PC via a USB
flash drive. The unit supports multiple guidance patterns, including
the FreeForm™ guidance pattern, providing unlimited patterns and
shapes for users to find the most desirable pattern for specific
fields.
In addition, the EZ-Guide 250 is compatible
with Ag Leader’s EZ-Steer™ assisted-steering system, giving
operators the ability to upgrade their guidance systems. The EZ-Guide
250/EZ-Steer combination guidance system can be moved from vehicle
to vehicle giving users increased flexibility for their precision
farming purchases.
EZ-Steer
T2™ Terrain Compensation Technology! In a time when technology is king, sometimes an idea
comes along that is so simple and practical that you wonder why
nobody thought of it before. We'd like to introduce you to one of
those ideas - the EZ-Steer Assisted Steering System. The all new EZ-Steer
system makes life in the field easier - without taking a big chunk
out of your pocket. Ideally suited for tillage, spreading, spraying,
and harvest applications, the EZ-Steer system is easy to install,
set up, and use. It eliminates fatigue and operator error, without
taking away your control of the equipment.
-
Easy Installation. The system requires no
hydraulic hook-ups. It can be installed on any approved vehicle with
power steering, even early models. Complete installation takes only
15 minutes on most vehicles and requires one wrench.
-
Simplicity. The EZ-Steer uses an electric
motor to turn the steering wheel, based on feedback from motor
rotation and GPS information. To disengage the system, simply grab
the steering wheel and turn. For transport, the electric motor can
be latched a few inches away from the steering wheel.
-
Accuracy. Using WAAS free differential
signal, the system provides 6"-12" pass to pass accuracy. Using
higher accuracy corrections (i.e. OmniSTAR HP or RTK), 4" pass to
pass can be achieved. Overall, the system provides accuracy better
than that of an operator driving manually.
-
Affordability. The EZ-Steer system is one of
the most affordable assisted steering systems on the market.

Plus lightbar, and keypad is strongly recommended)

EZ-BOOM

EZ-Boom™
New from Ag Leader Technology, the EZ-Boom
automated boom switching and liquid rate controller makes liquid
application simple and easy. The system automatically turns up to 10
individual boom sections on and off based on already applied areas,
which provides more accurate application around point rows,
waterways, and field boundaries where over application is most
likely to occur. The EZ-Boom system also provides accurate rate
control with Rate-1 and Rate-2 settings and the rate can be adjusted
with the + / - switch. Skips and overlaps will no longer be a
concern with the use of the EZ-Boom system. No more stressing over
turning sections off at the right time or remembering to turn them
back on. Save input cost, reduce operator fatigue, and improve
overall application accuracy. The Ag Leader EZ-Boom provides an
economical approach to automatic boom section control.
